Folk Groups

  • Zazpiak Bat Dancers

    The Zazpiak Bat Dancers are open to those 13 and older. No experience needed. Practices are held on Saturdays, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. For information or questions regarding Basque dance, please email info@SFBasqueFolk.org.

    Gazteak Dancers

    The Gazteak children's dance group practices on Saturdays from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the BCC Kantxa starting the first weekend in January and continuing until the first weekend of June. In addition to Basque dance they will also learn Basque songs, how to play mus, beginners Euskara and different aspects of Basque culture.     Zazpiak Bat Klika

    The Zazpiak Bat Klika, founded in 1964, practices on Monday nights at the BCC. For information or questions please email info@SFBasqueFolk.org.

    Elgarrekin Basque Choir

    The Elgarrekin Basque Choir was founded in 1979 and continues to perform at all the Basque masses at the BCC and at other events. The choir is always looking for new voices. Email info@SFBasqueFolk.org for more information.
